The Importance of Tithing

Honoring God with the firstfruits of your income:

The tithe is 10% of your income, and it should be given to God faithfully. Tithing honors the Scriptural principles of generously providing for religious leaders, giving to those in need, and laying up treasures in heaven.  Throughout Scripture, we are encouraged to give the first part of our resources to God as an expression of honor and gratitude. “Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: so shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine” (Proverbs 3:9–10).

As Christians, we are challenged to set our hearts on what truly matters, not on the frivolous things of the earth. (See Colossians 3:1–2.) Jesus challenged His disciples,“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not beak through nor steal: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also”(Matthew 6:19–21).

Giving a tithe and giving beyond the tithe are ways that you can honor God and reach out to meet the needs of others.
 
” Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”  (Malachi 3:10).
Family Life Center
 
We are so excited about the future of Frontline Ministries.  We are currently in the process of building a nearly 2 Million dollar Family Life Center that will allow us to minister to our community in a much bigger way.  A commercial Kitchen will allow is to provide hot meals to those in need through His Table soup kitchen ministry at Frontline.  We will partner with Central Food Bank of Oklahoma to feed hungry kids in our community during the summer months as well as evening meals on Wednesday nights.  A full Gym will allow for sport activities and a safe family fun environment.  In addition – the ministry is pursing education labs for after school programs and education opportunities to assist adults that need education/ resume building and vocation job searching opportunities.  
 
This is truly an exciting time at Frontline!  We are asking for any persons who are able to assist financially  to jump into the water and assist us in reaching our goal this year!  As soon as the building is up- we will start reaching out for community help to support all of the ministries mentioned.  It is not about Frontline- it is about the Kingdom!

Outreach Ministry
 
We are committed to our community!  Every week we have opportunity to share the Love of the Lord in so many ways.  Outreach to homeless, Recovery class, Children’s ministry, Clothing, Soup Kitchen, Food Bank and Jail ministry just to name a few!  
 
We do what we do on purpose.  God does have plans for His creation and we are right in the middle of His plan!  Please know that every dime sown in this ministry is going to reach a need of some kind!  We know the needs are great, but our God is greater!  we continue to see the community catch the vision of Frontline and the product of your time and efforts are producing a harvest of souls!
